Heart of a Warrior is a ministry born out of a desire to change the hearts of men from the inside out so that the lives they live will bring glory and honor to God. It began in 1991 with 15 men in San Diego California. The ministry was stimulated by a recognition that we were meant to fly like eagles, to live life in victory not defeat. I grew weary of men living in the "misty lowlands of mediocrity," abdicating their responsibility to be godly leaders within their sphere of influence, forgetting their identity in Christ, wasting their energies on non-significant activities, and losing their passion for what matters to God. To become men after God's heart, spiritual surgery was necessary. The journey to wholeness began. Since then, scores of men have taken the journey and are living more productive and God-centered lives.
