Hebrew scholars attest to the fact that real faith is beliefs in action. They see no sepration between one's beliefs and one's actions. More specifically, a belief doesn't become an ingrained belief until it's acted upon. Repeated application of one's beliefs indicates what one really believes. If their is a disconnect between the two, one's beliefs and one's actions, than they are not really beliefs but simply affirmations or aspirations. Our central beliefs establish our values. Our core values inform our worldview. Our worldview conditions our motives, our primary motives energize our behavior, and our behavior reflects the condition of our heart. James 2:17 Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
